This month it was my turn to choose our adventure, so we spent the weekend reading, soaking up sunshine, playing in the river and eating only breakfast foods. Perfect camp site, perfect weather. 10/10, would recommend.

Camping Club’s first official excursion was a bit too chilly for much photo taking, but believe me when I say that the view from our campsite was STUNNING.
Northwest Arkansas has quickly become one of my favorite places to explore. Thorncrown Chapel had been on my list to visit since before the move from Texas, so I’m glad finally had a chance to head that way recently.
I definitely spent more time being awed by the space than taking photos of it.
During my December travels, I had the opportunity to stop by the “wrong way” cemetery in Rayne, Louisiana for a little gloomy morning wandering.
Unlike every other Christian cemetery in the country, the graves face north-south, rather than east-west. As if that wasn’t fascinating enough, it was also my first experience with above-ground crypts. #spooky
In what will be a shocking turn of events for no one, Cadillac Ranch made the list for yet another hometown tour with a couple of humans I love. Somehow I convinced two more rowdy babes to make the trek to Amarillo with me for a weekend, and many shenanigans ensued (as expected), including this stylish pilgrimage.
One of the perks of being REALLY bad at getting film developed in a timely fashion is getting to re-live fun adventures way after the fact. Case in point: disposable camera goodness from that time Elizabeth met me in Lubbock and we had the most random assortment of tourist adventures, including pretzels bigger than our faces.
Cadillac Ranch is always one of the first places I take friends when they visit Amarillo. It’s admittedly a little underwhelming, but it’s still an experience. So when MD, one of my favorite humans came to visit last summer, off we went.
